What we collect, why we have it, and what happens to it afterwards.
Last updated: September 11, 2026
In one paragraph
We collect what you tell us when you call, email or fill in the form, and we use it to answer you and do the work. This site runs no analytics, no advertising tags and no call tracking, and it sets no cookies of its own. We do not sell anything about you to anyone.
What you tell us
When you get in touch, we keep what you chose to send. For a plumbing or heating enquiry that usually means:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- The address of the property, or the town it is in
- What the problem is, and anything you have told us about the equipment
- Photographs, documents or notes you send us
- Notes we make ourselves while diagnosing and doing the work
What the site records on its own
Nothing beyond what any web server records. Our host keeps standard request logs — the page requested, rough timing, and technical details like browser and IP address — which exist so the site can be served and kept secure.
There is no analytics package on this site, no advertising or social pixel, no call tracking and no dynamic number insertion. The phone number you see is the same number everyone sees. The site sets no cookies of its own, so there is no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
If that changes, this section changes with it in the same update, and the date at the top will move.
What we do with it
Your information is used to:
- Answer your question and arrange a visit
- Diagnose the problem and prepare an estimate
- Do the work, and keep a record of what was done at your property
- Follow up about scheduling, parts, or something we said we would check
- Honour warranty terms, which requires knowing what we installed and when
- Meet our tax, insurance and safety obligations
How the form reaches us
The estimate and contact forms are handled by Formspree, which receives the submission and passes it on to us by email. They process it to deliver it and hold a copy in our account. If the form is unavailable for any reason, the page falls back to opening your own email program instead, in which case it goes straight to us and no third party is involved at all.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your information and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing. It is shared only:
- With the people doing the work — this is a small crew and it does not go beyond them
- With a supplier, where ordering a specific part for your job requires it
- With our form handler and email provider, who only process it to deliver it to us
- Where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim
- If the business is ever sold, in which case customer records would transfer with it
Where it is kept
Our email and form handling run on services whose servers may be outside Canada, which means your information may be stored or processed in another country and be subject to the laws there. This is ordinary for any business using mainstream email, and we mention it because you are entitled to know rather than because it is unusual.
Calls, emails and texts
We contact you on the number and email you gave us, about the job you contacted us about. Calls are not recorded. Agreeing to be contacted is not a condition of buying anything, and you can tell us to stop at any point and we will.
Seeing it, correcting it, deleting it
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will do that. The exception is records we are required to keep — tax and insurance documentation, and the record of work done at a property while a warranty on it still runs. If we have to keep something, we will tell you what and why rather than simply refusing.
Keeping it safe, and not keeping it forever
We take reasonable steps to protect what you send us and we limit who can see customer records, which in a company this size is a short list. No email system is completely secure, so please do not send banking details or other sensitive financial information through the form or by email.
Enquiries that do not turn into work are cleared out once they are plainly stale. Records of completed work are kept for as long as warranty, tax and insurance obligations require, then deleted.
Under 16s
This site is for adults arranging plumbing and heating work on a property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will remove it.
If this page changes
The date at the top shows the current version. Where a change materially affects what we collect or who sees it, we will say what changed rather than quietly reissuing the page.

Still Not Sure Where You Stand?
These pages are written to be read, not to be impenetrable. If a paragraph on one of them does not make sense, ask and we will explain it.
